PLX is a Gentoo-Linux based operating system focused on privacy (for you), transparency (of the system), and flexibility. For now designed exclusively for the Raspberry Pi. AMD64 version in development (see the amd64 branch of the git repository). See the README.md for a short usage guide.

AMD64 version is in development (see the amd64 branch of the git respository). As of now (August 2026), with this branch you are able to perform an automated from-source offline bootstrap of Gentoo AMD64 (musl) using fosslinux/live-bootstrap and our own scripts. Tested hardware: KGPE-D16 with 2x AMD Opteron 6380, 128 GB RAM. This board is compatible with the open source BIOS coreboot-15h and the CPUs have no binary blobs (one of the last with this feature). Currently working on the PLX customizations.
